Saint of the Slums: evidence, Elena’s arrest and Lubomir

The investigation and the patients' recovery have different completion points. Arresting Elena finishes the tracked quest, but the reward screen is not proof that Lubomir has recovered. Keep the follow-up trip in your plan before leaving the area for unrelated work.

Start the investigation

At the Gracious Hand in Vernworth's Slums, speak to Elena after the scene outside and supply three Miasmite. Phantoms encountered at night can drop the material. Follow her tour, listen to Lubomir, speak to Lottie outside, then return to Lubomir and agree to investigate. ^[1]

If the investigation does not advance, check that second Lubomir conversation. Entering the building and seeing the patient is not the same as accepting his request. Guides differ on additional prerequisite side quests, so this page does not present those as universally mandatory.

Collect both items and pursue both leads

In the basement sickroom, pass the curtain into the supply area. Take the Unlabeled Medicine and Records of Treatment, then show them to Lubomir. Gamer Guides recommends entering at night if Elena keeps the basement door closed during the day. ^[2]

These leads are part of the published evidence route. ^[1][2] Keep track of whether you have merely collected an item, shown it to Lubomir, or finished the follow-up. That prevents a second trip caused by treating possession of the bottle as the doctor's completed assessment.

Wait for the assessment, then apprehend Elena

Radcliff needs time before giving his conclusion. Published guides use different amounts of waiting; check his conversation again after passing time instead of assuming an exact universal timer. If you accepted Prey for the Pack on arrival in town, handle that timed rescue before resting through the investigation. ^[2]

After the assessment, return to the Gracious Hand. Elena stands near the basement patient area. Use the grab action to pin her; this triggers the arrest sequence. Repeatedly talking to her is not the required final action. ^[1][2]

After the reward: arrange care for Lubomir

Jason Venter's GamesHorizon walkthrough describes returning to Lottie after the arrest, then going back to Radcliff and paying 3,000 gold for his help. On the subsequent return to the Gracious Hand, Lubomir and Lottie are outside and the patients have improved; Lottie gives ten Blight Arrows. ^[3]

Make this the immediate follow-up if saving the patients is your goal. A PowerPyx reader comment also warns that leaving the patients without care can lead to their deaths, but that comment is not enough to establish an exact countdown across versions. ^[4] The actionable checkpoint is to hear Radcliff agree to help, then return and verify the outcome.
